Accordion-style sliding systems
Description
This type of opening is particularly popular for large terraces, conservatories, porches, and spacious openings, as it allows the space to be fully opened up without restricting it with vertical or horizontal profiles. When the sashes are fully retracted, maximum freedom and connection with the outdoor environment are achieved, as the system allows for openings up to 6 m wide and 2.40 m high (clear opening).
To ensure stability and minimize linear expansion, we use high-quality VIVA PLAST aluminum profiles—TERMO 55 and TERMO 70—which feature a thermal break and provide excellent thermal insulation and structural stability.
As with all sliding systems, the opening mechanism is a key element. That is why we rely on the proven German manufacturer MACO, which guarantees smooth operation, reliability, and long-lasting performance, even with larger and heavier sashes.
The system allows for the use of double-pane glass with a maximum thickness of up to 24 mm, providing additional comfort and insulation. Furthermore, thanks to the wide range of RAL colors, a variety of design solutions can be achieved, tailored to the architecture and the customer’s individual preferences.
Furthermore, this type of system can be implemented not only with aluminum but also with PVC profiles, providing even greater flexibility in selection based on budget, aesthetics, and the technical requirements of the project.
